Read for Recess

The PTA is excited to bring back our Read-A-Thon fundraiser with the goal of raising $20,000 again. Last year, we exceeded our goal and purchased a much needed shade structure and benches (coming soon!) for the gaga ball pit! Thank you so much for making this happen.

Our goal is to continue adding improvements to our playground that will complement the district's planned playground renovation passed through the 2025 bond.

The improvements we would like to make include:

• kickball bases
• rubber mat for gaga ball pit
• new balls for recess
• new outdoor basketball nets 

With your help, we can create a more joyful and safe outdoor space for all of our students to enjoy year round.

Here’s how it works:
Students will set a personal reading goal and then reach out to friends, family, and neighbors for donations to support their efforts. Every dollar raised will go directly toward PTA funding. Online donations through the site are highly encouraged and preferred. We will also accept cash donations in an envelope with the student's name/grade/teacher. 

To keep things fun and motivating, students can earn prizes along the way as they read and raise funds! 

Not only does the Read-A-Thon help improve literacy and foster a love of reading, but it also empowers our students to make a meaningful difference in their school community.

*New this year*

Each GRADE LEVEL who meets their personalized goal will win a popsicle party! Goals were set based on the number of students in each grade to make it achievable for every grade.
