About ​The Watch D.O.G.S. Program:

 


The national Watch D.O.G.S. program is a one-of-a-kind school-based, father involvement initiative that works to support education and safety on school campuses.  Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or other administrator.  To learn more about the national Watch DOGS program, please click here

 
 

Dads Club

 

​Dads, Grandfathers Uncles, father figures: join Heights Dad's Club to get involved in our school. An involved dad is a positive role model for our students demonstrated by their presence that education is important.

Dad's Club helps out with many programs, beyond Watch D.O.G.S.:
  1. Dads at the Door: morning drop-off - opening car doors, monitoring the crosswalk and managing traffic
  2. Bike to School Day - serve drinks, snacks, activities
  3. Garden Work Days - help maintain the gardens
  4. Spring Carnival - help set up and take down
  5. Field Day - help the P.E. Coach at one of the stations
  6. Teacher Appreciation Week - deliver breakfast to staff
  7. Library Reader - read to a class in the library
