By joining the PTA, you help us meet our school's needs that are outside the scope of their budget. You also get great discounts, locally and nationally.

PTA memberships need to be renewed annually.  Last year we earned the President's Challenge award from Texas PTA.  Please help us surpass this goal by recruiting neighbors, grandparents and other family to become Richardson Heights Elementary PTA members.

Why Join The PTA?

The Texas PTA is the state’s largest grassroots association with over 500,000 members – parents, teachers and others – with a special interest in children, youth, families and schools. Our mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. Our members are leaders and advocates for the children of Texas, with access to valuable programs, resources and a voice at the Texas Capitol.

At the school level, RHE PTA supports the teachers, administrators and children of Richardson Heights Elementary School in countless ways – from coordinating programs and events throughout the year as well as providing funding for programs and learning tools that enhance and enrich our children's experience in the classroom.

Common Questions?

Do I have to go to meetings?

No. You are welcome to attend our general meetings but they are not required.

Do I have to volunteer or spend a lot of time at school?

No!  Joining the PTA is not the same as volunteering.  If you choose to volunteer we would love the help but you do not have to volunteer to be a member.

Do I have to have a student at RHE?

No.  Any member of our community can join the RHE PTA - grandparents, neighbors, businesses, etc.

What if I already joined last year?  Do I need to join again?

Yes.  PTA memberships must be renewed each school year.
