Heights Elementary participates in following academic competitions:
  • Reflections Art is a nation wide student program that encourages students to express their creative in school and at home.  Students of all grades and abilities may participate and explore arts based on the common theme. 
  • Invention Convention is a nation wide program that is open to everyone and allows students to create an invention and demonstrate its use in front of judges. All first place winners will go to the RISD District Invention Convention on November.  
  • Science Fair encourages students to learn scientific methods and problem solve in a fun and interesting way.  
  • Spelling Bee Are you a whiz with words? Then get ready for the RISD Spelling Bee! Open to Grades 4-6.​
